Room Deco Haul

I went to a big warehouse shop with mum on Sunday and I was originally looking for a multi-photo frame, but I didn't like the ones they had there, but I did find some other stuff for my room. I have a whole list of things I want to change/do in my room, so I got to tick off a few on the list~

I didn't take a solo picture of the mirror but it was $15. It's a long mirror and has a black floral frame. It is a skinny-ish mirror but it doesn't change your appearance too much.

This lamp was only $15! Usually in the shops I've seen they were about $60, they were a little bit bigger, but   I was definentely happy with this desk one for $15. The flowers/globes came in white, yellow, blue, purple, and red/pink. I might get one of these for a friends bday or something.. hmm..

You probably can't tell from the picture but this is a jewelry hanger. The two holes on the sides allow you to nail or drill it into the wall ( but not all the way) and you can hang necklaces and bracelets and things off it. It was $6.

This nail art deco kit was about $2.50, pretty good! I like how it has heaps of different shapes and colors, I can't wait to use it.

These clippers and tweezers were both $1.50 each. I like how they're matte black and have the pretty pink design~

I bought these for the cupcakes I'm going to make for Easter! They were $2.

I bought this magazine holder for my school books that I keep on my desk. I had a plastic black one from kmart, but I think this one looks alot nicer. It was $4.

I bought this ribbon for a DIY project I'm filming that should hopefully be finished soon.. ;) it was $2.
I will do a blogpost with a link to the video when it's done, but I've run out of ribbon atm haha

This chopping board was also for a DIY project, but not mine. It was for a DIY Sigma glove brush cleaner. In Secret Life Of A Bionerd's video she shows you how to make your own brush cleaner. And OMG it works so well! This board was only $3 and I already had a hot glue gun. If you're looking for a cheap, easy and effective way to clean your brushes, definitely give this a try!

Yay! that's everything! I'm really happy with these purchases, I feel like I saved quite a bit of money :)

Haul: Valleygirl, Kmart, Sinful Colors, OPI and Cotton On Body

On Thursday night after placement I went shopping with mum, this is what I got ^^

Teddy bear PJ set $11.00
Cupcake pyjama pants $8.00

They were both so cute and cheap I couldn't just pick one!

Kmart plain pink slippers/scuffs $3.00
I needed a new pair of slippers but I only had enough money for these ones at the time, but they are pretty comfortable

Cotton On Body active top $5.00 was $20.00 (I think)

I wanted an active top because hopefully I'm getting a walking machine soon and I wanted something I could wear just for cardio.

Cotton On drink bottle $5.00, usually $10.00

I was looking at this bottle seems I need a new one because my one just broke D: but I didn't know if I wanted to pay $10 haha but it was only $5 if you bought anything in the store, so I thought why not for $5.

Valleygirl long pink sweater $15.00 was $25.00

I love the color of this sweater and it will be great to wear with tight and boots.

Valleygirl curtain top $10.00 was $20.00

I think this top would look nice with a skirt and tights and would be good to wear with a cardigan.

Sinful Colors - Nail Junkie $4 (from Kmart)

Could not go past this color, it is so pretty! I love the holographic glitters.

OPI - La Paz-itively Hot $10.00 (My Beauty Spot)

Such a pretty pink color, has a slight pink shimmer.

OPI - La Paz-itively Hot Swatch

Hope you enjoyed my haul!

Thrift Shop Haul ~ Forever New, Valleygirl, Dotti, Jay Jays

Dotti - Summer Dress $5

A Simple floral dress

Jay Jays - Winter Dress $5

This dress reminds me of  something Aria would wear from Pretty Little liars

Atmosphere - Coat $20

Was a bit pricey for a second hand coat but, I think it was worth it ^^

Jay Jays - Fake Leather Jacket $8

I've wanted a leather jacket for ages, but they're so expensive, so when I saw this for $8 I couldn't refuse. When I got home I realised the pocket was ripped but I can fix that easily.

Forever New - Polka Dot Dress $9

I wanted this dress when it first came out in shops but couldn't pay the amount they wanted (was around $50-70 I think) so I was SO happy when I found this. I am so lucky it fits!

Altogether these clothes cost me $47, I think it was completely worth it! Hope you enjoyed my haul ^^

Kate Hill, Sally Hansen, OPI and Essence Haul

This past week I have been on placment, so I'm sorry for the lack of posts, but it's only one more week to go! yay!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects

During the week my mum wanted to go to Chemist Warehouse and so I had a look and I found the Sally Hansen Salon Effects for $5 each. I got Girl Flower, Glitz Blitz and Bling It On. I can't wait to use these :D

Kate Hill

Then on Friday I finished placement at 7.30 and mum picked me up and for something to do we went to a shopping centre nearby.
I looked at the Kate Hill store and saw a basket with $20 and under bags and I spotted this makeup bag and it was $10. So I took it to the counter and it was actually $5, then there was also 20% off so it went down further to $4! So cheap!

OPI

I got 3 OPI nail polishes that were $10 each from My Beauty Spot. The colours are (blue) Yoga-ta Get This  Blue, (red) Die Another Day and (purple) Tomorrow Never Dies.
I tried to get a swatch of Tomorrow Never Dies but I couldn't get a picture that did it justice. It's a metallic purple but it has red and blue shimmer in it. It is soo pretty.

Essence - Circus Circus

In Priceline they had the new Circus Circus Essence collection. I got the gold highlighter called It's Magic which was about $6 and the lip lacquer called My Glammy Acrobat for about $4.

I also got Too Faced Shadow Insurance with a sample size face primer, but the photo didn't work out :\ It was around $10 on ebay, which is pretty cheap for this brand :)

Thanks For Reading!

The Shopaholic Tag! - Blogpost

Beautybaby44 on youtube made a video on the shopaholic tag and I thought seems I like shopping that I would do it too ^^ her video is here: link

The questions:
1. Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?
2. How would you classify your style?
3. What store can you not leave without buying at least one thing?
4. Where do you find the best deals?
5. What designer are you willing to splurge for?
6. Do you have a go to shopping outfit?
7. What is your guilty pleasure? (Not including makeup)
8. What is one staple clothing piece you cannot live without?
9. What is a trend you hope never goes out of style?
10. What trend did you love that passed way to quickly?
11. Who is your fashion icon?

Okay so onto the answers..

1. Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?
Honestly, I'm not sure, I go shopping at least once a week, so maybe? haha I don't consider myself a shopaholic really, I try to set a limit of spending $50 a week, so I don' think so.. haha

2. How would you classify your style?
These questions are hard! haha
This is tricky because I have so many different things in my wardrobe. I would probably say girly/cute, because even if something in my wardrobe is black it still looks cute.

3. What store can you not leave without buying at least one thing?
Yay an easy one! Priceline~ there's always something to buy in that shop haha

4. Where do you find the best deals?
Valleygirl, there's always something really nice on the sale racks, and there's always sale racks. I've got quite a few dresses that were $35-40 for $15-20.

5. What designer are you willing to splurge for?
I don't know if this would be considered splurging, because it's not THAT expensive but I don't really buy expensive stuff lol but anyway.. Forever New and Kate Hill. They both have things that are decently priced and have things that are expensive in my opinion. But the quality is always great and they both have free shipping, which is great haha I love their stuff !
If I could afford it, I would definitely splurge on Alannah Hill.

6. Do you have a go to shopping outfit?
haha actually yeah I do, but only if I'm going clothes shopping. I wear jeans or shorts depending if its hot or cold, a black singlet and a cardigan. Jeans/shorts because you can try on almost every top and it will match and a black singlet because it will match almost match every skirt and shorts and you can wear it under sheer tops you try on.

7. What is your guilty pleasure? (Not including makeup)
Sales. Even if I would usually walk past something, if it's on sale I will always look twice ><

8. What is one staple clothing piece you cannot live without?
Skinny jeans, they go with everything and are so good in winter!

9. What is a trend you hope never goes out of style?
Quilted pattern on handbags, I own like 6 bag with that pattern, it looks so pretty!

10. What trend did you love that passed way to quickly?
Tartan skirts!

11. Who is your fashion icon?
I don't really follow anyone for their fashion, but I love love love the clothes on Pretty Little Liars. They had Jeffery Campbell boots on there once (so nice!)

Please leave a comment if you do this tag so I can read it!

Hope you enjoyed my post!

Haul: I Love, Sinful Colors and Essence

On Friday I had about half an hour to shop, so I went to Target to have a look at I Love and Essence, and then I also found some really pretty colours from Sinful colors as well.

I saw heaps of pictures in Instagram of this brand and it made me curious as to why it was so popular, so I smelled it and it smells amazing! It's so sweet! I really want to get more of this range, the packaging is so cute  and as I said, they all smell so good ^^

I was looking at the Essence stand for a mint nail polish, but unfortunately they didn't have one in this shop, so I had a look at the rest of the Essence products and found this lipgloss. It's in the shade 'My Favorite milkshake' it's a pretty light pink colour.

Now I have two of the Stay With Me Essence lipglosses! I like these lipglosses because they're small, so they're good for your purse, they have pretty colors, pretty packaging and don't give the yucky sticky finish.
The darker pink colour is 'Hottest Pink'.

Sinful Colors in Starfish is a light periwinkle pink

Sinful Colors in Verbena is a medium pastel purple

Hope you enjoyed my haul!

Besweetxo's Nail Challenge Day 2: Cartoon

For Day 2 of my nail art challenge I did cartoon inspired nails.
I took so long because I had no idea what to do haha I tried to do Lilo and Stitch but it didn't work out :(
So I tried a simple Mickey Mouse mani.

I used Rimmel Double Decker Red and Black Out with a dotting tool.

It's not my best work but I still think its okay :)
