2013 Favourites! (Beauty)

I know I'm super late with this post, but I thought better late than never! So I'm just going to get straight into it!

Primer: Too Faced - Primed and Poreless

This primer goes on so smoothly and fills in your pores and helps your makeup stay longer.

Primer: Essence I heart stage Eyeshadow Base

I really like this eyeshadow primer, it creates a smooth base and prevents creasing.

Base: Bourjois Flower Perfection Foundation

This foundation gives great coverage and stays on all day.

Powder: Australis Fresh and Flawless pressed powder

This powder gives great coverage and mattifies the face. Comes with a mirror and applicator, so it is great to take with you for touch ups as well.

Blush: NARS Super Orgasm

My friend gave me this blush last year and I love it. It's a peachy pink colour with sparkles. It looks natural with slight shimmer on your face.

Highlighter: Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch

This is a cream highlighter with a shimmery pearl finish.

Eyeshadow: Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Barely Branded

Such a pretty champagne colour that stays on all night.

Eyeline: Maybelline Master Precise Liquid liner and Lancome Khol pencil liner

Both great products that stay on your eyelids and don't crease.

 Mascara: Maybelline Falsies

I tried so many mascara's this year, but always went back to this one, I love the curved applicator.

Lip Care: Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

Exfoliates your lips and you can lick it off!

Lip Colour: Maybelline Colour Whisper
(45- Who Wore it Red-er, 95-Mad for Magenta, 25-Lust For Blush)

Gives great colour and doesn't feel heavy, but is moisturizing.

Hand Cream: Soap and Glory Hand Food

Smells amazing, doesn't leave your hands greasy but still moisturizers them well.

Nail Polish - OPI Liquid  Sand Range

Colour and glitter and texture hybrid, looks amazing.

Perfume: Marc Jacobs Daisy

Such a pretty smell and a nice bottle.

 Skincare: Sukin Rosehip Oil

Fantastic for your skin.

I hope you enjoyed my favourites!

Lime Crime Pink Velvet Review (and swatches on lips!)

Just before New Years Eve I decided to order the pink Velvetine from Lime Crime and I love it! So I thought I'd show some swatches and post a review :)

I got  Pink Velvet from an online shop called Rouche Boutique, it was $24.00AUD and they have free shipping on Sundays! They also included a candy cane because I ordered just after Christmas, a business card and a thank you note. I love when companies put in a little extra effort with their packaging :) The Box also came in the little bag that  you can see. If I decide to order Lime Crime again I will happily use this site. They also sell Sigma and Sugarpill at reasonable prices.

The tube itself is almost 10cm/4inch long and 2cm/0.75inch wide. The bottom of the tube where the product is, is frosted glass and the lid is red with pink roses on it and the word Lime Crime on one side. There is also two unicorn heads on the top of the lid and the product name on the bottom of the tube. The applicator is a small doe foot which helps with application.

 Swatches (on hand):

You can see that it applies very wet and dries matte. It has a nice buttery vanilla scent, which isn't very strong. And you don't smell it once it has dried.

The product is a bit pinker than these pictures but you can see that it is very opaque and matte. Once dried it is very hard to smudge this product and if you try to wipe some on your hand only a tiny bit comes off and your lips will still look opaque. It will last through most foods, but definitely not greasy food. (lasagna, fried oily foods, etc.) It will stay on the edges of your lips and completely disappear from the middle of your lips. But when drinking or eating non greasy food, it may fade a little, but most of it will stay on your lips. And you could even get away with not touching up. And it stays on for hours and may stain your lips a little!

With flash:

Close up:

Overall I really like this product. It's very bright but a cool pink medium shade, (more pink than the photos are showing) so if you're in to subtle lips this might not be for you. But if you like bright, colourful lips like me then I really suggest you try it because it is a great product. And the packaging is so cute! I'm considering getting the Red Velvet at the moment, but I'll see :)

I hope my review was helpful and that you enjoyed reading!
All opinions made are my own and I have purchased the products with my own money.

Kikki.K Back to School Haul

This year I'm going back to school so I needed a planner. I know the Kikki.K diaries every year are really nice so I had a look online to see what they had for 2014. I saw the black and white polka dot  one which I liked the best so I went to the store to buy it within the next few days, but they had sold out. I really liked it, so I decided I would just order it online. The shipping rate for Australia is $10 or free if you spend $50 or more. And because there was something I else I wanted on sale for $5, I decided just to buy a few more things for school to bring the total over $50.

The box it came in was huge, probably 4 times what it needed to be haha

I love how they packaged it. The contents were wrapped in printed tissue paper and there was more tissue paper underneath.

They also included a card from the company.

I really love Kikki.K packaging, it's all so cute and colourful!

First thing was this polar bear notebook, its A4 size and was $6.95.

And it came with stickers!

The second thing was this monthly calendar, it's blank so you fill in everything including the month and dates. It's on a pad of 60 pages. It was on sale for $5.

There's four designs within the calendar.

This is the diary that I wanted so badly! haha
It was $24.95

There's a yearly calendar at the front, but unfortunately, no monthly calendar.

At the start of every month there is a inspiring quote, which is kind of nice when you start a new month.

And more stickers!

I also got some pens, I got the 5-pack ballpoint pens and another ballpoint pen. The 5 pack contains fruit, bunny, fox, polar bear and ice cream patterns and the other pen has foxes, apples and ice creams. I think the 5 pack was around $6 and the pen by itself was around $2-3.

All up this package cost $52, it seems expensive, but the diary made up half of it and everything looks so nice! haha If you like stationary as much as me, you would understand! :P

Boxing Day/Christmas Haul 2013

For some reason Blogger won't let me type in the 'compose' section when creating a new post, so I haven't been able to blog for a while. Then I did some research trying to fix and see if anyone else has this problem and the only thing that seemed different was to change the browser. I was using Chrome but I just downloaded Firefox and it's working! So from now on I'm going to still use Chrome and check back every now and then, but use Firefox solely for blogging :)

Boxing day was a few weeks ago now, but I thought I'd share what I got, this was basically all Christmas money minus a few things and most of it was on sale. I'll do my best to remember the prices.

All up this was around $200 I think. I know this amount seems excessive, but it was basically my Christmas present from my parents and I am reallyyy grateful for everything I was able to receive.

These two things I bought with my own money, the Le Tan application mitt and the Bondi Sands tanning foam in light to medium. They were both 40% off at Priceline at the time and I think the mitt was around $5 and the foam was around $12. (Just a heads up, since then I have used the dark tanning foam and I like it a lot more)

I think I also purchased these with my own money, they were full price ($15) and I wore them over my birthday/new years eve and they were from Priceline as well. I'm hoping to do a review of this brand soon because I love them.

This OPI set was on sale for $12 at Myer. It has 3 mini liquid sand polishes, 2 light pink and 1 purple. I don't buy the mini ones because I feel like they wouldn't last too long but it was only $12 for 3 and I thought they would make a good tester.

Lush was having 50% some of their stuff, but because I already got a few things on and before Christmas day I decided I would hold back even though I would love to own the entire shop! haha So I ended up getting a 100g Rose Jam shower gel and a Golden Wonder bath bomb (the one that looks like a yellow and white present)

T2 wasn't having any sales (as far as I saw anyway) but I absolutely LOVE their strawberries and cream ice tea when they have samples in the shop, so I decided to give it a go myself. I'm glad I did because it is so refreshing! I think this box was $13. And in case anyone is interested, the way I make this tea is I boil the kettle, put 1 - 1.5 teaspoons in a tea strainer and 1 sugar in the cup, poor the boiling water in the cup, let it sit for 10 mins and shake the strainer after 5 mins and then put it in the fridge. About 1 - 2 hours later the tea is nicely chilled and it tastes delicious!

This bracelet was from Ally Fashion. It reminded me of the bracelets from Goldmark but it was much cheaper. This was on sale (30% off) for around $3.

From The Body Shop I bought this gift set. They had all their Christmas products on sale but I couldn't pick just one, then I saw this chocolate set half price for $22 so I decided to buy it. It contains body butter, body scrub, lip butter and shower gel. And they all smell like chocolate.. need I say more? haha

From Forever New I got this bag on sale for I think around $20, it reminds me of the Celine bags (which I definitely can't afford) but I am really happy with this one!

This is the best time of the year to get new bras. Bras n Things have soo much on sale and for really cheap too! I got two bras for 15, one for 10 and 1 for 20. So four bras for $60 and they are the comfiest bras and last the longest, so that is why I'm sharing this with you haha

I got this top and Skirt from Chic a Booti. The top was $12 and the skirt was $10.

Ally Fashion was having a 30% off storewide sale, so I got this top for around $15 and these shorts for around $10.

From Tightrope I got this playsuit for $20, I can't wait to wear this to the beach!

A few days after Boxing day the sales were still on and so I went shopping again and got these Peter Alexander slippers for $20 and a Cotton On Body sleep top for $10. (Picture taken from my Instagram)

I hope you enjoyed reading about my haul!
