Fitness, Ally Fashion, Nail Polish and Revlon Haul

Last week I went shopping and I spent wayy too much this time! D: ..but I'm really happy with what I got :P

I got this fitness set from Sam's Warehouse, it was $15 on sale! (usually $20). It comes with a yoga mat, 2x 1kg weights, a skipping rope and an exercise ball. It comes in two colours: pink and blue. It was the last one in the shop, so I'm really lucky and happy it was the pink set!

This bottle is from Cotton On Body, it was only $5. I saw the Victoria's Secret PINK bottles online and I think they're really pretty, but I didn't want to pay the shipping so when I saw this I had to get it!

From Ally Fashion I got this dress for $15 was $35, the top for $15 and the sunnies for $5.
The dress was a brand called Knight Angel, I've never heard of this brand before, but the dress feels very high quality.

From Target I got these flats, mainly for work, for $15. I love the flowers along the side and they're really comfortable.

This headband is from Equip and was originally $14.95 but was on sale for $5

Revlon Balm Stain Romantic Swatches
Top: Romantic
Bottom: Lovesick

Revlon Balm Stain Romantic Swatch

Revlon Balm Stain Lovesick Swatch

Priceline was having a Revlon sale: 2 for the price of 1, so I got two Balm Stain's: Romantic (red) and Lovesick (pink)

Target were having 25% off all Sally Hansen so I got these two polishes: Pink: Gem Crush Lady Luck #07 and Blue It. I'm wearing Lady Luck at the moment and I put up a post yesterday with pictures, so if you want to see that click here.

That's the end of today's haul!

NOTD - Sally Hansen Lady Luck Swatches

Today's NOTD is Sally Hansen Lady Luck #07 - in the Gem Crush collection.

This nailpolish is a part of a 8 polish collection and dries fast and covers alot of the nail, but I would reccomend using a colour similar to this one underneath (it helps increase the opacity of the polish).
I used Rimmel 630 Be A Star.

You can see the holographic glitter here. I think the glitter and the hot pink go really well together and look really pretty.

I also have these 3 other Gem Crush polishes.
From left to right: 05 Be-Jeweled, 08 Glitz Gal and 06 Razzle Dazzler.
(sorry for poor image quality, this pic was from my old nail art blog)

Online Makeup Haul and Review

About a month ago I ordered these things online but I kept forgetting to post a haul, so here it is! I'll provide links and prices so if you see something you like, you can have a look and maybe get it too :)

So first, the biggest thing in the picture: Fraulein38 matte and shimmer eyeshadow pallette. This was $27.60 AUD, I think this is a great price for 120 eyeshadows. The shipping costs $3.00 AUD so shipping and the palette is approx $30.00 AUD. The pallette contains two trays that you can lift out so you can view all the eyeshadows. I decided to pick this one over the other ones because I thought it had the most variety. There is every colour of the rainbow that I could think of and they are in matte and shimmer. The only downside to this pallette is that the colours aren't as pigmented as if you payed $10-20 for one eyeshadow (Revlon, Rimmel etc.) but seems I'm probably only going to be using these bright colours for cosplay/costume looks, it will work :) (and btw the matte is more pigmented than the shimmer colours)

 Here's a couple of swatches:

From 'Maytheups' on Ebay, I got 3 packets of eyelashes and some nail stickers.

I have been looking for bulk packs of eyelashes everywhere, because here in Australia eyelashes are usually around $13, The Face Shop have them for $4.50 (they have really good glue btw) but I want to wear them often and I don't like wearing the same pair of lashes twice. I looked online at eyelash stores, but the ones I found either didn't ship to Aus or the shipping was ridiculous (like $100! really?!). So I decided I would look on ebay, even if the packets were $10 for 10, that works out to $1 per pair. I came across this user and I thought her eyelashes looked  like quality lashes, they looked like the $13 ones, so I decided to buy a few and they were really inexpensive!

The brand is Taylor Xuan, I haven't heard of this brand before but I thought the packaging looked nice too (pic above). These ones are T08.
$2.00

These ones are Taylor Xuan T01
$2.00

And these are also Taylor Xuan 601
$1.80

I haven't tried them yet but I opened the packages and they feel like they are quality lashes.

I realise all these lashes are sold out but if you go to maytheups store, you can probably find very similar lashes.

Also from the maytheups store I bought some nail stickers

I haven't tried these yet either, I'm waiting for a special occasion. I've never used nail stickers before so I'm a bit worried they will fall off/scratch off really easily, but they do look really pretty, and they're still available for $1.50!

Lastly, I got two Revlon Lip Butters!

Left: Strawberry Shortcake
Right: Sweet Tart

Strawberry Shortcake

Sweet Tart

The swatch of Strawberry Shortcake is realistic, but the Sweet Tart swatch is much more pigmented and brighter in real life. In Australia, these retail for about $22 each and on Ebay I found them here for $8.00 each! So cheap!

So after my online makeup shopping, I have realised when something new hits the shelves, try to find a dupe or a less expensive seller online! And who knows, you might be in luck~

Right tag: link

The last thing on today's haul is the Katy Perry 'Meow!' perfume.

Mum got it as a Kris Kringle present but I keep using it because it smells so nice, so I thought I'd add it to this post. It's hard to describe the smell of it, but to me it's a mixture of vanilla and fruit. It smells soo good! and the packaging is so cute. You can get this from Priceline for $44.00 at the moment :)

Hope you enjoyed my haul!

Pink & Purple Peek-A-Boo Highlights!

Today I dyed part of my hair pink and purple!
I used Fudge Paint box Raspberry Beret (Pink) and Blueberry Hill (Purple)

The day before I tried to do peek-a-boo highlights with Schwarzkopf Live colour Rich Burgundy but as you can see it didn't work, so today I thought I'd try something I knew would work.

I didn't bleach my hair first, I just dyed my brown hair so it didn't work very well.

With my hair dye, gloves and foil I started dying my hair pink and purple!

This is the result:

After a couple of photos I straightened my hair so I could see what it looked like styled

A close-up of the colour

I showed Sabre but he just wanted to sleep :P

Only 2 weeks left of school, including 2 exams! So I better go study :( oh well nearly finished!
