I adore the colours of peacock feathers and when I got the green, gold and blue glitter polish from Chi Chi (in my last post) I decided I'd try to do a peacock tutorial! I first tried painting the peacock feather, but it didn't turn out too nice, so then I tried this design and I loved it! I hope you do too :)
As you saw in my haul yesterday, I bought the Chi Chi 'Bling It On' glitter set. I got it from Target, it contains 8 glitter colours and was $19.95. Every colour has different sizes of glitter so some work better than others.

Overall I'm really happy with the set and I think these are very unique colours and for $19.95 for a set they work out to be around $2.50 each.
This afternoon I went shopping and I got some clothes, shoes, nail polish, lip balm and some eye shadow!
Shoes
These shoes were from Forever New and they were only $20.00! So cheap for this brand! There was a sale were you took off 50% of already reduced items. They're really comfy and soo nice! They were $50.00 to begin with. If you haven't seen Forever New clothes before check them out here I wish I could buy the entire shop!
Clothes
From Valleygirl I got a tribal print high-low dress which was $29.95 down to $14.95,
a white-to-purple ombre vest/cardi for $9.95, was $19.95 and
a lacy singlet top for $6.95, was $14.95.
Valleygirl always has things on sale and they're pretty cheap for good quality.
All together these clothes came to $32.
Lip Balm
From The Body Shop I got a lip balm for $11.00, it's pretty expensive for a tube of lip balm, but because The Body Shop uses all natural ingredients and is against animal testing and products I was happy to pay the amount. Plus it works wonderfully and smells good too! Only downside is it doesn't have a tint, so no matter what colour you get, there wont be a tint on your lips.
Eye Shadow
I got the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. It's a light brown colour with shimmer and it's really pretty! It doesnt wash off with soap and water and won't smudge, so I think it's a great investment.
I got it for $7.65 on sale from Big W and it's usually around $12.
Nail Polish
From The Face Shop I got two nail polishes. The blue and purple glitter is PP409 and the pink is PP402.
Together they were $10.40 and seperately the pink was $3.20 and the glitter was $6.40. (both on sale) I really like the glitter because it is unique.
On the 1st of November I got my hair cut. I got my fringe cut a bit shorter and my layers cut shorter as well and just a little trim on the ends :) I forgot to get before pics, but these are after my haircut~
It's growing! ..kinda ^^
All my highlights have almost gone so I'm trying to decide whether I want to put some more dye in my hair.
The options I have thought of so far are:
Pink ends (ombre style)
Purple ends (ombre style)
Pink and Purple ends (ombre style)
Blonde ombre - caramel
Blonde highlights - caramel
I have previously had pink in my hair and purple in my hair at seperate times, and I really liked both of them but they didn't fade nicely.
This year I decided to go as a gothic/dark/lolita, broken porcelain doll! The pics below are from my practice day, so my costume is the same and the one above is from when I went out.
So for my costume I wore a dress that is from Decuba. It's silk-like and has polka dots and buttons down the front. The rose tights I got from Factorie, the socks I'm not sure, the shoes from Rivers, the gloves from Manifest and the headband from Hairhouse Warehouse.
For my makeup I did a natural eye with light brown over the lid and a darker brown in the crease. Then I did a thin line of liquid eyeliner and some heavy lashes from The Face Shop. For the lips I created a ombre effect. I used lighter colours on the outsides and darker colours towards the middle. For the cracks I used gel eyeliner by Rimmel as it is really creamy. For my hair I just curled it and put the headband on.
